Biography

A public health researcher with experience in mixed-method research and expertise in qualitative research. With around 10 years of research experience, I particularly focus on gender, sexual and reproductive health and rights, infectious diseases (tuberculosis), and implementation research. I am currently working as Assistant Professor and Deputy Director for the Centre of Science of Implementation and Scale-up at BRAC James P. Grant School of Public Health (BRAC-JPGSPH) of BRAC University, Bangladesh. My present job responsibilities include leading and managing projects effectively with junior researchers, developing research protocols and tools, analysing and presenting data to a larger audience through workshops, reports and publications in peer-reviewed journals, and overseeing the management activities of the centre. Besides research, I am also a faculty at BRAC-JPGSPH. I teach and co-coordinate the Qualitative Research Methods module and supervise students in their thesis. I am also the Co-Chair of the Institutional Review Board of BRAC-JPGSPH since February 2022. Besides, I have reviewed several articles for a few peer-reviewed journals, for example, BMJ Global Health and Journal of Empirical Research on Human Research Ethics.
